Jacket JMCCompiler Option |
Documentation |
Jacket JMC lets you share your Jacket application as an executable. Executables are created with Jacket JMC in combination with the MATLAB® Compiler™. The MATLAB Compiler uses a runtime engine called the MATLAB Compiler Runtime (MCR). MCR is provided with the MATLAB Compiler for distribution with an application and can be deployed royalty-free. When Jacket applications have completed the development, test, and optimization stages and are ready for deployment, Jacket JMC allows users to create standalone, license-free executables for deployment to larger user bases.
Jacket JMC allows end users to run Jacket applications without the need for a MATLAB license. This capability in Jacket eliminates the need to reprogram your applications into lower level languages like C, C++ or Fortran and therefore dramatically decreases application deployment time.
Jacket JMC is available by default with every Jacket trial license; however, executables generated with a trial license will also expire at the end of the trial period. For purchased licenses, the Jacket JMC license add-on is required to generate non-expiring executables.
